Terms of Service
Effective date: August 9, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Edge Case Software ("we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the One New Ticket website and game (together, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms for you.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and must promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorized access. You may not create an account for someone else without authorization, impersonate another person, or transfer your account without our permission.
3. License to use the Service
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial entertainment. This license does not transfer ownership of the Service or any content in it.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service unlawfully or to harm, threaten, harass, or deceive others;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, servers, or data;
- interfere with the Service, bypass security or access controls, or introduce malicious code;
- use automated means to scrape, overload, or abuse the Service;
- reverse engineer, copy, distribute, sell, or exploit the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it; or
- remove or alter copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.
5. Fictional content
One New Ticket is a work of fiction and a simulated game environment. Names, companies, employees, systems, incidents, commands, and support scenarios presented in the game are fictional or used for parody and entertainment. In-game actions do not operate your device, network, accounts, or third-party services and should not be treated as professional IT, security, legal, or business advice.
6. Ownership
The Service, including its software, text, graphics, design, characters, fictional organizations, audio, and other content, is owned by Edge Case Software or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Our names, logos, and branding may not be used without prior written permission. Third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners.
7. Third-party services
The Service may rely on or link to third-party services, including Google sign-in. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or content outside our control.
8. Service changes and availability
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service. We do not guarantee that the Service or any saved game data will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device. We may impose reasonable limits needed to protect or operate the Service.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure, or used the Service in a way that threatens other users or the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, and limits of liability—will survive.
10. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, and security. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Edge Case Software and its owners, personnel, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from the Service. Our total liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service during the 12 months before the claim or US $100. These limits apply regardless of the legal theory and even if we were advised that damages were possible. Applicable law may give you rights that cannot be limited by these Terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where Edge Case Software is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where the law where you live requires otherwise. Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us and make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally. Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from seeking relief in small-claims court or urgent injunctive relief where available.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms here and update the effective date. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice where appropriate. Continuing to use the Service after revised Terms take effect means you accept them.
14. General
If any provision of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets. These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the entire agreement between you and us concerning the Service.
