Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 9, 2026

Edge Case Software ("we," "us," or "our") operates the One New Ticket website and game (together, the "Service"). This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

1. Information we collect

We may collect the following information when you use the Service:

2. How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts; authenticate users; verify email addresses and reset passwords; save game progress; provide, maintain, and troubleshoot the Service; prevent abuse and fraud; communicate about service-related matters; comply with legal obligations; and improve reliability and gameplay.

3. Cookies and local storage

The Service uses session cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in, protect requests, and maintain account security. The game uses local storage for the guided-tour preference described above. We do not currently use advertising cookies on the static marketing site. Browser controls can clear or block cookies and local storage, but blocking necessary cookies may prevent account or gameplay features from working.

4. When we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us host the Service, operate its database, send transactional email, or provide security and maintenance. If you use Google sign-in, Google processes information according to its own terms and privacy policy. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, in connection with a business transfer, or with your direction or consent.

5. Data retention

We retain account and gameplay information while your account is active and as reasonably necessary to provide the Service. We may retain limited information longer when needed for security, backups, dispute resolution, or legal compliance. Retention periods vary according to the type and purpose of the information.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes rather than in readable form. No storage or transmission system is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices and rights

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with your account by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights and the right to appeal a denied request. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. You can also disconnect Google sign-in through your Google account settings.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.

9. International use

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than the one where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service changes. We will post the updated policy here and revise the effective date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.

11. Contact us
